Philosophy and reason for being.
One of the goals...
One of the goals of my services is to use a scientific and empirical approach to training as well as my own experiences to try to bridge the gap between theory and practice. The aim being to improve your performance, well-being and health, as well as to ensure that you are using your potential to the full or to help you to discover the benefits of physical activity, making sure that you will be a regular exerciser forever!
My experience as an Exercise Physiologist consulted by athletes and non-athletes of all abilities as well as my 25 year experience as a sportman made me realise that training or doing any physical activity must be consistent and structured. That is, physical activity-induced performance and health improvements not only depend on the level of intensity but also on consistency and the way a training session or cycle is structured.
My scientific approach, practical knowledge, attention to detail and to what clients say make it easier to analyse and solve problems related to performance enhancement or to help non-exercisers to become active and improve their health and well-being.
Whether you have a coach or not, we will work together so you can achieve your goals and be the best you can be. My role is to guide you using a scientific approach and work in coordination with your coach if you have one.
I hope to help you to discover or rediscover your potential.
